A few years back we created this beautiful extended family portrait session on their front porch. We Stood across the street in order to get this portrait created yelling "car" whenever one came by lol haven't done that since I was a kid. The biggest hurdle when creating an extended family portrait is getting everyone together, I believe some family members came in from California in order to be in this portrait! We were thrilled to be able to create this portrait for them. The funny part is while we created a portrait for them I created the painting for myself as a personal project. The house and front porch is beautiful and the idea of painting that many people inspired me to tackle this as a personal project to paint. Truth be told I am not sure we even showed them the painting, but it has come to my attention that recently they lost Grandma. A very lovely who was and always will be the head of a lovely family. My heart goes out to them and I hope the portrait we created for them will be treasured for generations to come.
